Ithaca Shooting Stars teams play Dec. 8-9

During the December 8-9 weekend, the three Ithaca Shooting Stars teams were in action. The 19U team was defeated by the Princeton Tiger Lilies 16U Tier 1 team, the 14Us defeated the Binghamton Blizzard 16Us, and the 13Us played to tie with the Binghamton 12Us.

Against the visitors from Princeton, goalie Annabelle Jones stopped 19 shots in a 7-0 loss and goalie Sarah Eisenhut stopped 27 shots in a 1-0 loss.

The 14Us defeated Binghamton 2-0. Marissa Ramos scored assisted by her sister Olivia and Meredith Kirk. Jackie Cornell also scored assisted by Allison Grippin. The Binghamton goalie had to make 37 saves to keep the score close. Angela Everhart had a shutout in goal making 11 saves.

When the youngest Ithaca and Binghamton travel teams tied 5-5, Alex Stagliano stopped 13 shots on goal. Bridget Derraugh had a hat trick, two unassisted and one helped by Camille Rogers and Jacy Hollander. Hannah Wilson and Ismini Ethridge also scored one apiece.
