Ithaca Shooting Stars Update (Nov. 19)

 

During the November 17-18 weekend, the 16U Ithaca Shooting Stars lost their one game, the 14Us won one and lost one, and the 13Us also split their games.

 

The 13U Shooting Stars lost to an Ithaca Youth Hockey team 1-5 and tied them at a second meeting 1-1.  Risa Ulinski scored the lone goal in the loss while Bridget Derraugh scored the game-tying goal.

 

The 14Us lost to the Rome Grizzlies 14U, 1-5 with Angela Everhart making 23 saves. The lone goal was scored by Allison Grippin who was assisted by Krystalyn Yonkin. They came out on top in a game with the  Ithaca Youth Hockey PeeWee UNYHL team, 3-2. Goals were scored by Serena Mendola,  Ali Pace, and Marissa Ramos with assists by Clara Karastury, Grippin, Pace and Hannah Golay.

 

Ithaca 16U Shooting Stars were defeated by the North Country Ice Storm 16U Tier 1 team, 1-9.  Sarah Eisenhut stopped 18 shots on goal.  Kathryn Luschwitz scored the one Ithaca goal.
