Ithaca 14U and 19U Shooting Stars Play Jan. 12-13

Last weekend the Ithaca 14U Shooting Stars lost two games to the  Adirondack Northstars 14U and tied the Saugerties Fillies.  The 19Us lost twice to the North Country Ice Storm 16Us.

Against Adirondack, the 14Us lost 1-5 and 0 -3.  Angela Everhart stopped 22 and 32 saves in the games, respectively.  Kaitlin Ryan scored the long goal.  When they tied the Saugerties 14Us, 3 -3, Meredith Kirk had a goal and an assist.  Hannah Golay and Krystalyn Yonkin scored the other two goals.

After the Ithaca 19U Shooting Stars were shutout by the North Country Ice Storm 16U Tier 1, 0-8 on Saturday evening, they kept it closer on Sunday falling just 3-2. Sarah Eisenhut stopped 40 shots in the first loss while Annabelle Jones made 35 in the second.  Eisenhut scored one of the two Ithaca goals assisted by Katie Long.  Janesa Cornish scored the other assisted by Lauren Cole.
